The Complex is situated in the “Saint Marina” locality, Sozopol,
at 30 km south of the city of Bourgas and the international air
port. The plot is situated in nice pine forest. The place is
much communicated and with wonderful sea view from it.
The project is made as apart-hotel, with restricted access for
external visitors with 24 h security guards. The building is
situated at only 50 m from the beach.
The interior and the exterior look of the building, as the
environment, are projected in style “early Byzantine Basilica”,
from where comes and the name of the complex. The project has 24
apartments, parking places, foyer with reception desk, lobby bar
and restaurant, shops, hammam, fitnes center and an exterior
swimming pool.
The building consists of a ground floor, two floors and a
mansard floor.
The hammam (Turkish bath) will be made by original Oriental
style with high ceiling, for better air-circulation.
On the ground floor are situated the reception desk, the lobby
bar and the restaurant, shops.
On the other 3 floors are situated the other 20 apartments with
an area of roughly 80 sq.m. On every floor there are
house-keeping offices.
The building is traditional monolith, warm-isolated. The
external side is structural plaster, covered with 3 rows of
ceramic elements - 6 mm. The walls of the ground floor and the
garage will be covered with stones. The terrace above the garage
will be made of ceramic with typical frescos and medallions.
The aluminium window woodwork is high quality.
Every apartment will be finished as follows:
- Walls - latex painted;
- Floor - laminate parquet, terra cotta;
- Doors - massive wood;
- Bathrooms - furnished;
There is no furniture included in the price.
Sozopol is one of the most popular beach resorts in Bulgaria.
The spot is preferred by people for its casual ambience and
ancient atmosphere. It gets very busy during the summer. Good
variety of restaurants, cafes, night clubs, cinemas, shops, etc.
In general the prices are lower than the international resorts (Albena,
Golden Sands, Sunny beach, etc.), but higher than the resorts of
Kiten, Varna, etc. Sozopol can be compared to Nessebar.
Everything is available here, but the most attractive thing is
probably the old town with its interesting old-style wooden
houses (some of them are national monuments).
Internet access: Widely available in the new town Internet cafes
on the main street.
Located 30 km south of Bourgas on a slender rocky peninsula,
Sozopol is one of the oldest Bulgarian coastal towns. It is
founded in 610 BC by Miletian Greeks. Today this charming place
is a popular beach resort best known for its casual ambience,
sandy beaches, and distinctive 19th-century stone and wooden
houses, some 45 of which are national cultural monuments. While
Sozopol is extremely busy during July and August, in the
off-season it reverts back to a sleepy fishing village and is a
favored stop of artists and writers. The small harbor is a good
place to watch fishermen off-load their catches to waiting
buyers from area restaurants.
The best beach area is at Dyuni, an upscale Austrian-designed
resort village complex, 6 km south of Sozopol. Past Dyuni, the
coast road passes by the Arkutino swamp, a 62 hectare area of
floating water lilies, irises and creeping liana vines. A few
kilometers further south is the Ropotamo river nature reserve.
The town lies on a small rocky peninsula in the farthest
southern part of the Bourgas Bay.
To the south of Sozopol there are a number of fjords-like
formations. The coast here is particularly high and cut in by
the incoming waves. There are numerous secluded coves.
Mt. Bakurluka is above the town, and some 20 km to the south is
the mouth of the Ropotamo River. There is a biosphere reserve,
camping sites, very near is the famous Zmiiski Island (of the
Snakes).
It is not as crowded as the big sea resorts and offers
conditions for a nice and peaceful vacation.
