Gorna
Bania is a quarter of Sofia, which is famous with its mineral
waters and the cleanest air in the capital, thanks to the unique
interaction between several air flows, which secure constant
ventilation and stop the creation of fogs. There are about 15 to
18 fogs per year here, while in Sofia they are about 49. Due to
the longer sunshine, the lack of fogs and the lower
humidity of
the air often there are warmer days compared to those in Sofia.
The summer is moderately hot, as the air cools down by the local
winds, which are formed along the defile of Vladaia.
The Gorna Bania Residence complex comprises of 4 blocks – A, B,
C and D. It is situated at the foot of the Vitosha mountain and
has a magnificent view. The complex is 25 minutes away from the
Sofia airport, 10 minutes away from the centre and is next to
the New Bulgarian University.
The complex has 4 floors and a underground floor. Block A has 24
